SOLDAMATIC USE FOR WELDING WITH ROBOTICS
Open Practice
1. Configure your exercise in Open Demo by selecting the Robotics option.
2. Select in your Teach Pendant the exercise that you have previously configured for the robot to run.
3. You will see on the simulator screen the exercise performed by the robot. See the execution of the exercise.
NOTE
You can make a visual inspection of the weld bead during the exercise.
4. Once confirmed it will take us to the Exercise results and analysis.
Creating a Job
The student can create, edit and delete Jobs from the Soldamatic simulator. Any of these actions will be saved only in the student’s profile who is performing the exercise.
In robotic welding, the user will select the voltage and wire feed speed during the programming of the exercise with the teach pendant and the robot will send a digital signal to the welding machine to be set to these values. This digital signal is called a JOB, so a Job is a combination of voltage and wire feed speed.
The jobs created by the student are automatically listed with ID numbers from 100 to 256.
REMEMBER
Before selecting the Job we must have created it in Soldamatic.
Virtual view while welding
In robotic welding exercise, the student may visualize the welding with a different angle. This new view is called «Virtual View».
To activate this option (is deactivated by default) you should follow the follow steps:
1. Open a robotic exercise and enter in simulation and press AR.
2. Press cancel and enable «Virtual view while welding».
3. Then, when you start welding you will see a virtual view.
